As I know the suicide rate in Korea is very high. Not only their artists, their citizens in general commit suicides. For example, there is a bridge on the Han River that has many supporting messages because people often jump from there. I think that in Korea there may be a lack of self-esteem in some of its inhabitants. That makes me very sad.
