As a medical technologist/phlebotomist, I am impressed and worried. That''s one of my job - to extract blood from the patient. Most of the lab tests are already automated so this is...just wow. A robot can extract blood, do the tests and release the results.

I get my blood taken quite often to monitor my liver enzymes and my testosterone levels and idk... personally I feel totally at ease with the nurses and doctors who take my blood themselves. I’d be way more nervous to let a robot do it rather than a trained medical professional, but that’s just me.
