Brahmins by definition, aren't the rulers but essentially, teachers, guides, scientists, advisors, philosophers, etc. Anyone, who has attained these wisdoms and qualifications, becomes a Brahmin.
However, people wrongly assume that castes are automatic and by birth.
The wise and knowledgeable persons always dominate others so that they too are guided on correct paths of life.
If someone assumes himself a Brahmin or Kshatriya or Vaisya or Shudra, is absolutely wrong.

Yes Brahmins are very dominant in every sphere. Exactly I have seen this with my own eyes. In my team, there were 3 guys alongwith 2 bosses (Both Brahmins). I had the best profile (from reserved quota). But still I am given low level work and the other Brahmin guys are given all the best and plum works. As a result, my annual appraisals are suffering and I get low grades. If I say anything, I am being scolded like anything. And my Brahmin colleagues are treated so well like pigs. Naturally, I am going into depression and suffering mentally.

In opposite I observed that the people of SC, ST community are getting higher position on the basis of reservation and then they are torchering the open community people to take revange because they have mindset that their ancestors were exploited and torched by open community people.

Our India is very very diverse with culture and living. But still, every corner those discrimination still exsts.

One simple question. Why is such a hatred on Brahmins? Why are they questioned and cornered. There should be a reason right? Unless they sow they cannot reap. It is as simple as that.
Nevertheless. Everything is changing very fast. I have couple of friends from that section, who suffer such hatreds for no mistake of them. I wish all of us grow together embracing all human, kee caste and creeds away.

No Brahmin dominance in India after the rising of OBC post Mandal Committee recommendations. The only dominant social group is OBC in India. Since they are the majority community in India. Dominant OBC groups do not care about Brahmins. Hinduism custodianship has passed from Brahmins to other castes mainly the OBC who are in the fore front for safeguarding Hindu interests and they have become the dominant social group.

History shows when people of higher class oppress lower class, rebellion takes place; same thing happened within Hindus; Kings or rulers became greedy, obsessed with worldly pleasures, etc;
Braahmin dominance is true, but not in all walks of life! Braahmins have genetically higher intelligence, due to their practice of daily rituals, reciting of mantras, etc;
If a non-braahmin practices such systems, in 2–3 generations later, NextGen kids will be smarter than rest!

According to me, a gentleman or gentlewoman who is capable of asking questions on Quora, is highly educated and very well informed. He/she will be reading news items on both print media and electronic media and kee him/herself abreast of the goings on in India. It is tangible and palpable that who is dominating whom, who, despite having high cerebral prowess, is placed on the backburner and who, despite being average is placed on high pedestal in India. He/she is also aware of the ill-effects of such open discrimination. There is a saying - there is no need of a mirror to see the wound on one’s palm. But people still ask questions and people like me, in order to remove the mental cobwebs occupying some minds, waste our precious time..

Not at all!!!! The times when Brahmins used to teach and lead all the castes are gone. Consider this:
I have seen Brahmins working as a barber in barber shops.
I know Brahmins working as security guards.
Brahmins are driving autos.
Brahmins are working as labours in construction sites.
Brahmins are working as a sweeper in municipality offices.
Brahmins are working as a worker in leather factories.
Brahmins are selling Bhel puri at road side thelas.
Only in rural areas of our country, still you can see Brahmins trying to be superior. In cities everything has changed. Today an educated and rich person don't need a surname. I have seen 10’s of my friends who are from lower castes, running factories and offices and giving jobs to several Brahmins.
Times are changing.

只有在印度的農(nóng)村地區(qū),還能看到婆羅門試圖維持自己的優(yōu)越感。但在城市里,一切都變了。如今,受過良好教育的富人不需要姓氏。我有10多個低種姓朋友在經(jīng)營工廠和辦公室,給幾個婆羅門提供工作崗位。

I think it is there from ancient times till today. Nobody cares brahmins from ancient times till today. It is only on paper.
